Privacy Policy

• Parent/Guardian Details: Full name, email address, mobile number, city/state, and relationship to the child.
• Child Details: See Section 3.
• Payment Data: Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We retain only the Razorpay transaction ID, order ID, and payment status. We never store card numbers, CVV, or bank credentials.
• Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and device type — collected via cookies and PostHog analytics.
• Communications: Messages, emails, or WhatsApp interactions you initiate with us.

• To schedule, conduct, and manage demo and paid learning sessions.
• To process payments securely through Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant gateway.
• To send session reminders, progress reports, and service communications via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
• To personalise your child's learning plan based on their goals and progress.
• To respond to support queries and complaints within 5 business days.
• To improve our platform and trainer quality through anonymised analytics.
• To comply with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act 2000, RBI Payment Aggregator Guidelines, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

We do not sell your personal data, and we never use a child's data for advertising.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), anyone under 18 is a child. All of our students are children, so we treat their data with extra care.

• Parental consent first: we process a child's data only with the consent of their parent or legal guardian. Whoever books a demo or enrols confirms that they are the child's parent or legal guardian and agrees to us using the child's details to arrange and run classes. We record when that consent was given.
• What we collect about a child, and why: first name, age or class, and the goals and challenges you tell us about (to match the right trainer and level); and the trainer's notes and scores from the demo and sessions (to plan sessions and tell you how your child is doing). We do not ask for a child's surname, photograph, school or government ID.
• No tracking or advertising aimed at children: we don't track children's behaviour, build profiles of them, or show or target advertising to them. Our analytics and advertising tools do not run in the student or teacher areas of our platform, and the learning games we use in class contain no analytics or advertising.
• Who sees it: only your child's trainer, the Eloqova team that arranges classes, and you.
• Your control: you can ask to see, correct or delete your child's data at any time by emailing support@learnnova.co.in (see Section 8). Withdrawing consent means we stop processing the data and delete it, except where the law requires us to keep a record.

All payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a licensed Payment Aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. By making a payment, you are also subject to Razorpay's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

• Razorpay is PCI-DSS compliant. Raw payment instrument data never passes through Eloqova's servers.
• For recurring billing, Razorpay stores a tokenised payment method under RBI e-mandate guidelines. You may revoke recurring mandates at any time by contacting us.
• In case of a failed payment where your bank has been debited, the reversal happens automatically within 5–7 business days per Razorpay's process.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these circumstances:

• Razorpay: For payment processing, settlement, and fraud prevention as required by RBI guidelines.
• Google: Meet and Calendar for live sessions, and Google Workspace for managing bookings.
• PostHog: Analytics on our public website only (see Section 6).
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram): when you book through our website, we send Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address, phone number and first name so Meta can tell us whether our ads led to the booking. We never send a child's details.
• Trainers: Receive only a child's first name, grade, and learning objectives — no financial or contact data.
• Legal/Regulatory: Banks, RBI, law enforcement, or other authorities as required by Applicable Law.
• Business Transfer: In case of merger or acquisition, with advance notice to you.

• Essential Cookies: Required for session management and payment checkout.
• Analytics Cookies: on our public website (not the student or teacher areas), PostHog may record how visitors use the pages so we can improve them. Anything typed into forms is hidden from these recordings.
• Advertising Cookies: the Meta Pixel on our public website measures whether visitors came from our ads.

You may disable cookies via your browser. Disabling essential cookies may impact checkout. Razorpay's checkout also uses cookies per their own Privacy Policy.

• Account and session data: 3 years after your last interaction, then deleted.
• Payment records: 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations; 10 years for records subject to Razorpay/RBI compliance obligations.
• Marketing communications: until you unsubscribe.

• Access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data.
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
• Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer (Section 9).

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
